R. Beth's Story
In 1986 I moved to Northern California and lived on the West Coast for 18 years. I lived in Sacramento for 12 years, San Jose for 2years, Las Vegas for 3 years (2000-2003) and finally the East Bay for 1 year. I have driven cross-country 3 times. I moved back to NJ June 2004 because my mother needed help at home caring for my father. He passed 12/3/2005 after fighting Prostate Cancer for 15 years. I have 4 cats, 3 of which I flew here from CA. They were all rescue animals. The 4th cat I rescued in TN and brought home. I have no children. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I stay connected with my long distance friends via Facebook and the internet.

have 2 more surgeries as I developed an E-Coli infection in the wound. According to my surgeon my back is still not fully fused and we still have to watch for signs of infection on the metal. From 8/3/09 - 9/9/09 I was hospitalized between the acute care and rehab facility. I never expected to be away from home as long as I was or to have as many complications. I am doing really well now but I have to remember to take things slowly.
Some interests include, reading, cooking, making jewelry, spending time with family, my cats and friends. I also love shopping in the stores and on-line. I love country music and am still in shock that there is no country music radio station in the NY area. My favorite song is Tim McGraw's "Live Like You WEre Dying".
